Equipped with ICP-OES and atomic absorption spectrometers, our metals lab analyzes heavy metals in water, soil, sediment, and waste samples.
Ions Chromatography Laboratory
Using high-precision ion chromatographs, we evaluate anions and cations, as well as nitrates, chlorides, and phosphates in water and waste.
Physical-Chemical Laboratory
By employing pH meters, colorimeters, and distillation systems, we conduct a wide range of physical and chemical assessments in water, wastewater, soils, and waste materials.
Microbiology Laboratory
Focusing on microbiological evaluations of water and other samples, our lab is prepared to analyze total and fecal coliforms, heterotrophic bacteria, and more.
Liquid Chromatography Laboratory
With high-performance liquid chromatographs (HPLC), EP Aqua identifies and quantifies complex organic compounds, including pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
Volatile and Semi-Volatile Laboratory
Using gas chromatographs, we analyze volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds, including BTEX, PCBs, PAHs, and TPH.
Ecotoxicology Laboratory
EP Aqua also conducts ecotoxicological tests to assess how chemical substances and effluents affect both aquatic and terrestrial organisms, evaluating acute and chronic toxicity in various environmental samples.

Our laboratory (ISO 17025-accredited) conducts full analyses for the U.S. market. We specialize in metals, chromatography, microbiology, volatile organics, and ecotoxicology. We also offer integrated logistics for safe sample transportation and continuous tracking.
STEP
With the STEP system, you can monitor, control and optimize processes and also make quick adjustments regarding water and wastewater treatment stations, all remotely and in real-time, whether your treatment plant is automated or manually operated.
Research & Development
We conduct treatability lab studies to develop customized solutions, such as advanced oxidation processes (FENTON, ozone, and UV) for the removal of complex compounds. We also offer Steelclean, a solution focused on the steel industry designed to eliminate contaminants.
Contaminant & Microplastic Testing
Combining advanced laboratory infrastructure, OPTIR spectroscopy, AI-assisted particle analysis, and international quality standards to support research and projects involving emerging contaminants and human health.
